We have two cats and are getting 7 days before we have to change the tray. Sadly they still throw it all over the place and tend to track it a bit further than traditional clay liters. They don't seem to track more just that it is showing up farther from the pan. With two cats the 20 minute wait can cause problems as the pan needs to be leveled before the next cat decides to dig. However, it has worked fairly well for a week. Both cats are demand eaters so they have access to food all the time and consequently use the liter box perhaps more often than a cat that it not eating all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of using an automatic litter box. I don't have to fight with my son to clean it and I don't have to worry about cleaning it long after he didn't. The litter trays are easy to use. You open the box, put the lid underneath the tray of litter (which comes in a separate enclosed bag), place the tray in the litter box and make sure the magnets stick to the litter box edge, and simply open the litter and dump it in. The crystals soak up urine and does not release an ammonia type smell ever. It does discolor though so don't be alarmed by that. Fecal matter doesn't clump with the crystals so you don't have to worry about finding a way to clean them or anything like that. It stays on top and gets swept away during cleaning.

Easy, convenient, mess free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter honestly doesn't have a smell to me. So I can't say it smells great but what I can say is that it hides the odor from my cats urine quite well. I don't have the annoying and disgusting smell of urine lofting through my house anymore like I did with the fresh step I was using before. It also doesn't track so there's no litter mess to clean up outside of the box either. They come in convenient pre measured and easy to pour pouches so there's no real work involved. Just pour the litter, set it down and you're good to go.

Great litter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried this litter before in a regular litter box and was super excited to try it in my self scooping one. It definitely hides odors great. The only thing I'm disappointed about is how long it lasts. The description says 20-30 days for one cat. It lasts about 8 days. He does use the bathroom a good amount during that time though. It's so easy to change, so much better than scooping. Very happy customer who will continue to buy these!

They are refills for my Petsafe self cleaning litter box, and the best part is the 3 pack will last at least three months!! They recommend you change the tray every 20 to 30 days, so I am set for a few months!! You just remove the top cover and dump the tray right into a garbage bag! How easy is that!! I would highly recommend this 3 pack refill to all cat owners who have the self cleaning litter box!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the scoop free premium blue Crystal's for my scoop free litter box and it works great! My cat took right to it and started using it. I have always used a pebble litter so this was an easy transition for my cat. I love the fact that there is no odor. I've been using it several weeks now and I can't smell anything coming from the litter box. Its recommended that you chande it every 3 weeks for one cat and it has a place to write on there when you changed it, so you can check if you forget. I love it!

Smells great and long lasting!

It has a light fragrance to it but just slightly so it doesn't mix in with the cat's business in the box and end up smelling bad. I also like the blue color as it reminds me of cleanliness. It lasts for a long time (around 75 to 95 cleaning rounds, or 2 weeks with two cats for each tray; and there's three to a pack) and it keeps the smell down for all of their business. I would highly recommend this litter and get it again as well!

Absolutely amazing.
I had been looking at self cleaning litter boxes for a little while, because I had decided that would be my (and my cats) treat with my tax refund earlier this year. A lot of other boxes required regular litter and were a lot more expensive, so I decided on these. I originally only bought one, because I wanted to make sure my cats would use the crystals as opposed to the litter that they were used to.
They love these boxes, because I wasn’t always the best at keeping up on their boxes before, and I love them too, because less cleaning for me, and they really do absorb all of the odor.
Anytime anyone has wondered about good litter and self cleaning boxes, I’ve jumped right in and recommended these. Absolutely worth the extra money.

Magic crystals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these trays. You literally can’t get more convenient for this when it comes to litter. I sit a tray down and place the unit on top of the tray. After 1 month (I have one cat) I pick the unit up, lift the tray up, and toss it in the trash. Simple. I won’t be able to go back to scooping litter—ever again. I didn’t realize what a luxury this was until I got to try it. Now there isn’t any going back. This is high quality crystals—I’ve used others before and even after a month of heavy use for one cat there is still no odor—which is shocking to me. I have nothing but good things to say. I will keep using these. Never ever goi g back to clumping litter or any other kind of litter again. Love them!

Works well; lasts half the time suggested
I appreciate the convenience of this product and find that it works well, overall. That being said the idea that one tray can last 20 to 30 days for a single cat is laughable. When I had one cat using the box I got, at the most, 11 to 12 days per tray. Since getting a kitten each of these trays is lasting no more than eight to nine days, and that's with a supplemental letterbox set up. I really like my ScoopFree letterbox and definitely recommend it to people, but I always tell them that the marketing hype is just that—hype.

Doesnt last as long as it says

It contains smell, it super hygenic, and makes life a little easier.
However, the major drawback is that this doesnt last as long as it says. For one cat it advertises that it lasts 20-30 days and I didnt find this to be the case at all. With the original blue crystals I didnt even get 3 weeks before they had to be changed. I stirred them, I got the extra clean ones out of the waste holder, my cat is small and doesnt use the box more than other cats... but yet I didnt get the amount of time that I expected to out of the box.
While it works it's amazing! No smell. No looking at cat waste. It's always clean. Changing it is also a breeze. This is the best litter system I've tried and met all of my expectations for the things that mattered.
But. If I have to change it out every 2.5 weeks I think that this just isnt in my budget. If it is in yours, though, you need this.

Great litter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tokk some getting used to for my cats as they have always used clay litter, but once they were used to the smell and feeling they are using all the time. The crystals absorb the urine and smell so easily. If you look closely you will see a difference in color for the crystals that have been urinated on amd those that are still fresh. The litter lasts a lot longer than clay litter, so it doesn't need to be changed as often, with 3 cats it is a life saver!

I have had the scoopfree automatic litter boxes for years! I'm not sure if the litter changed over the years, but when I had 2 cats I changed the litter far less often. It has been a year and a half since I have only had one cat and i am now having to change the litter tray every 3 days because it is disgusting. When I first purchased the system I could go a month without changing the trays. I use to rave about this litter system, but lately have had nothing good to say about the litter unfortunately.

The best litter

Amazing Litter

There is very little odor (only when the cat first uses it before the box scoops the mess), and the litter is a great indicator as to when you need to change the pan. I don't even have to scoop the tray in between trays most of the time. Glad I got these in exchange for my honest opinion!

Great for single cat

When I had two cats and they went in the same spot, it would soak through the paper box a bit, but now I have just one and the box holds up fine. Controls Odor!

We have 2 cats and this litter worked well. With 2 cats it says to change after 15 days depending on your cats. I changed between 10 to 12 days. It it a great feeling not to have to do the litter box all the time. I am amazed that it did not smell. The odor control is great! I would buy this product again.

Easy to use

You empty the blue crystals into the cardboard tray and shake the tray to get the crystals even. The crystals absorbs the cat urine fast and it dries out the waste. Each tray last me about 3 weeks before I change it out.. when you are done with a tray you just put a lid on the tray and throw it away without having to scoop up anything.

Awesome Litter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this litter for a couple weeks now and love it! It has no strong smell and controls odor very well. I'm transitioning to completely crystal litter, so I have one crystal litter box and one clay litter box. Since I put out the crystal litter, that's the *only* one they'll now use the bathroom in, so they obviously like it more than the clay litter. Despite them only using that one, it held up for a week until it needed to be changed, so I'm guessing with 2 crystal litters they would last 2 weeks until needing to be changed with three cats. It also stays contained very well, which is great!
Pros: unscented, controls odor well, has a cover for disposal, stays contained well
Cons: if you have a cat that is obsessive about covering up their litter, it can be loud moving around

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using these litter tray refills for 5 weeks. We set up the ScoopFree litter box with a separately purchased scrap rug to collect any loose blue litter crystals from the litter tray. The refill trays themselves are no brainers to set up - simply lift the cat box housing (it's clean...), take the lid included with the new refill tray and use it to cover the old tray (absolutely no smell!) and then put the new tray in the same spot as the old tray and lower the housing in place. (I use heavy duty tape to tape the lid onto the old tray so that when I throw it into the garbage dumpster the litter doesn't spill all over.) One of these trays last us about 8 days (with 2 cats). They can use the box 35 times (counter on litter box) before we notice ANY odor at all. This is a great product!!!

Handy but bulky to store
